At Agentero, our account verification process comprises two essential components: License Verification and E&O Verification. Ensuring accurate and up-to-date information in these areas is crucial for seamless access to our services.
License Verification:
We have streamlined the license verification process by integrating with NIPR, enabling fully automated verification. To complete this step and gain immediate validation, please be sure your agency and agent information are accurate and up-to-date. The following details are required based on your organizations license structure:
For Agencies operating under an Agency license (skip this section if you are operating as an agent under your individual producer license):
- Agency FEIN (Federal Employer Identification Number)
- Agency License Number and Residency State
- Agency NPN (National Producer Number)
For Agents operating under their individual producer license:
- Agent Social Security Number
- Agent License Number and Residency State
- Agent NPN
E&O Verification:
Agentero mandates that agents maintain an active Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance policy issued by an insurer rated no lower than A- by A.M. Best. To complete this verification, you must upload a PDF copy of your complete E&O policy and provide the following information for manual compliance verification by our team:
- Carrier name
- Policy number
- Expiration date
- Coverage per claim limit
Important Note:
It's essential to understand that a verified account does not guarantee access to all carriers. The availability of appointment access, carriers within the Agentero Rater, and carriers that allow policy binding without appointments is also impacted by your licensed states, lines of authority on your license, or lines of authority covered by your E&O. The range of carriers accessible is determined by these specific considerations.
